Forest bathing in nature allows the brain to relax. It is known to boost immunity and leads to lesser days of illness as well as faster recovery from illnesses. Forest bathing helps to avoid stress and burnout, and helps in fighting depression and anxiety. It improves heart and lung health, and is known to increase focus, concentration and memory. Trees release chemicals called terpenes that get absorbed when we breathe in the forest. These terpenes have immense health benefits.
