We offer practical, site-specific consultancy for people who want to create productive, beautiful and ecologically healthy gardens and orchards. Our approach is rooted in regenerative gardening and farming, with an emphasis on working with the natural characteristics of a site rather than imposing a standard garden design upon it. We look at the whole system – soil, water, climate, plants, wildlife and the way you intend to use the land.

We have curated orchards and gardens in various parts of Uttarakhand. We also maintain a orchard of our own, using various regenerative farming methods. (Our Fruit Orchard)

Garden & Orchard Planning

Whether you are starting from bare land or transforming an existing garden, we can help you develop a planting and management plan suited to your particular site.

This can include:
Selection of fruit trees, trees, shrubs, herbs and perennial plants,
Choosing suitable varieties for your climate and microclimate,
Planting locations, spacing and combinations,
Pollination requirements,
Soil improvement and fertility management,
Irrigation and water management,
Drainage and erosion management,
Frost, wind and sun exposure,
Creating habitat for birds, pollinators and other wildlife,
Integrating productive and ornamental planting,
Planning the garden in stages according to time and budget.

Regenerative & Ecological Gardening

We can help you move beyond a conventional garden based on intensive inputs and constant maintenance, towards a more self-sustaining system. The aim is not simply to grow more plants, but to build healthy soil, retain water, encourage biodiversity and create a garden that becomes easier and more rewarding to manage over time.

Our advice may include composting, mulching, groundcovers, companion planting, selection of plants, nutrient cycling, beneficial insects, natural pest management and appropriate use of native vegetation.

Existing Garden & Orchard Assessment

If you already have a garden or orchard that is not performing as expected, we can assess the problems and suggest practical solutions.

This can include poor growth, unsuitable varieties, soil problems, water stress, pests and diseases, overcrowding, frost damage, lack of pollination or simply deciding what to do with an established but poorly planned garden.

Site-Specific Plant Selection

A plant that thrives in one garden may fail completely a few kilometres away. We can help you choose plants and varieties based on the actual conditions of your property – including elevation, aspect, exposure, frost, rainfall, soil, drainage and available water – rather than relying solely on generic nursery recommendations.

How the Consultancy Works

Consultations can be conducted remotely using photographs, videos, maps and other information about your property, or through an on-site visit where practical. For larger projects, we can prepare a detailed site-specific plan showing what to plant, where to plant it and how to develop the garden over time. Our objective is always practical advice that you can actually implement and not just a catalogue of plants or a one-size-fits-all landscaping plan.

The first conversation is free. It gives us an opportunity to understand your requirements, discuss what you have in mind, and suggest the most appropriate consultancy service and fee for your project.
