Our consultancy brings together experience in landscape design, horticulture, floriculture and ecological gardening, combining practical knowledge with a strong understanding of how gardens and landscapes develop over time.
Floriculture & Succulents Specialist – Olena Kostrytsia (Founder – Hill Yarns) – Head of our Team
Bringing a European perspective together with extensive hands-on experience, she advises on plant selection, placement, seasonal planting, propagation and ongoing maintenance, particularly in challenging hill conditions. Her expertise helps clients choose plants suited to their site, avoid costly planting failures, create longer-lasting seasonal interest, and develop practical planting schemes that are easier to maintain.
Her experience working closely with village women also brings a broader understanding of local skills, livelihood generation and the preservation and value-addition of orchard produce. Her work and expertise in floriculture and related fields have received recognition through several awards.
Luxury Landscape Design by Aashish Vaishnava (Founder – AV GOLF DESIGN)
Where world-class golf architecture meets private luxurious landscape artistry. Aashish Vaishnava applies the precision behind award-recognized golf courses – routing, grading, drainage, irrigation, green complexes, bunker landform, structural planting – to luxury gardens and estates that demand nothing less than mastery.
Every landscape begins with the land itself: its levels, drainage, soil, water, and light, read with the same rigor once reserved for championship terrain. From aesthetically appealing rock gardens to Zen retreats to sprawling estate grounds, the result is landscape design engineered for permanence, and built to feel unmistakably premium.
“A golf course teaches you that the land already knows what it wants to be – our work is simply to listen closely enough to reveal it. I bring that same patience and precision to every space we design.” ~ AV
Ecology & Regenerative Landscapes Expert – Dr. Maini (Owner – Maini’s Hill Cottages and Maini’s Orchard)
With an in-depth understanding of ecology, he helps clients design productive, low-input and self-sustaining landscapes that work with nature rather than against it. As a mentor to several regenerative gardens in the region and a writer on agriculture and gardening, he brings both practical field experience and a strong ecological perspective to every project.
His expertise includes food forests, permaculture-based gardens, natural farming, fruit orchards, rewilding and soil regeneration. His consultancy focuses on improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, reducing dependence on external inputs and creating natural systems for fertility, pest management and water retention. He advocates a completely chemical-free approach to landscaping, helping clients build gardens and orchards that become healthier, more resilient and increasingly self-sustaining as they mature.
Our Extended Team
Good design depends on good materials and skilled execution. Over time, we have built relationships with a carefully selected network of specialist vendors and suppliers who understand our standards and requirements, helping us source the right plants, materials and other inputs for each project. We also work with a dedicated team of local villagers whom we have trained and developed over time. They work exclusively on our project sites under our guidance, bringing valuable local knowledge and practical skills while allowing us to maintain consistency in how our designs are implemented.
